A place to perform your work, in a place you want to live
We are always interested in a conversation with experienced welders and fabricators looking for a place to perform their works, in a place where they truly desire to live.
Our works are exceptionally high end, with fine aesthetic qualities. All individuals on our staff are executing on their calling, their desired choice of trade. This is far different than simply having a job at a metal shop. There are metal shops everywhere, and many metal shops have jobs, and employees doing a job.
Forgeworks is comprised of a synergistic assembly of individuals with talent, camaraderie, enjoyment of their craft and calling, love for the area, and outdoor recreation. Besides experience and talent, a good fit with our staff is equally important. One very unique component of this fit includes combining a sincere passion for this trade with an appetite for the outdoor lifestyle on the Western Slope of Colorado.
We work and play on the north end of the San Juan mountains. Our staff live in Ridgway, Ouray or Montrose.
